I was so honored to speak on the TBI One Love podcast this month. The podcast reaches subscribers in 50 states and 32 countries! I spoke about my role working with children who have had acquired severe traumatic brain injury and the role we as speech pathologists play in treatment and education for the patient and family members. I also spoke to communication strategies and techniques for those who have recently suffered a brain injury and ways we can adapt the environment to the person, and not the person to the environment. We are advocates for our patients, and I was honored to speak about my position!
