Insurance and Self-Pay FAQs

November 26, 2018April 13, 2022 speechinthecity Comments Off on Insurance and Self-Pay FAQs

In Network Plans:

We are currently in-network with CIGNA and Northwell Health.

Out of Network and Self Pay:

If you have out of network benefits we can bill your insurance company directly. We will submit your child’s claim after each session. Please be mindful that some plans cap the amount of visits each year. Our billing team will make sure to inform you of all your benefits prior to your child’s session.

How to Submit a Claim:

We will submit all claims for our families. If you would like to submit your own claim please note that five days after your invoice is paid, you will get an automated claim form. Please review it to make sure there are no discrepancies.  Below is an example of how to submit your claim Please only submit the statement for insurance reimbursement claim, not your invoice.

Example of How to Submit a Claim in the United Healthcare Portal:

  1. Login to your Health Insurance carriers website, https://member.uhc.com/dashboard
    • If you have not registered yet, please register the primary insured to use the tool correctly.

2. Go to Claims & Accounts

3. Click “Submit a Claim”
